Arts...for Change! Educational Outreach

Ok, what does that really mean?  That means that you can have Mariposa actor/educators come to your school and work with your students in either a workshop or longterm residency situation.

Arts...for change! is an exciting theatre education outreach program to local Pittsburgh public, private, and charter schools. Theatre has the power to encourage, challenge, and empower students to seek answers, express views, and have the freedom to do so in a fun and safe environment. Mariposa Theatre for Young Audiences incorporates theatre games, improvisation, scripts, and writing to open that creative potential inherent in all children.  Workshops and residencies are tailored to the individual schools to best target the desired outcomes for the students.

So whether you are looking for a one day theatre games workshop, or a longer production oriented residency, Mariposa can design the program that works best for you and your schools budget!
